12 Feb Wedding Photography at Horwood House
So, we reach the penultimate wedding of the year as we return to complete wedding photography at Horwood House for the fourth time this year. Each time is unique and it doesn’t matter how many times you return to a venue, every wedding delivers its own charm and opportunity to create something new. So here we were on a rainy November day getting ready with the Marisa, her sister and best friend. The rain decided to lash down all afternoon but honestly it didn’t make a jot of difference to us, what did make a difference was the district lack of a shirt for Marisa’s brother who was giving her away in just 30 mins…. hooray for the local wedding hire company who came up trumps and Marisa was proudly escorted down the aisle by a properly attired brother ! The service was late afternoon so all of our coverage including lighting and we’re super pleased with how the images came out. Generally we avoid using flash through a service, but when its pitch black outside and low lights inside, we had no choice but to introduce discrete lighting and it worked brilliantly.
Now, I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love a bit of Abba, and Jem and Marisa are no exception! The party got started by a fantastic Abba tribute act who got everyone and I mean everyone up and dancing and we loved this crazy rain filled November wedding and whist we love creating wedding photography at Horwood House in the summertime, it just goes to show what a great venue it is in the Winter too. If you want to talk to us about Wedding Photography at Horwood House, just drop us a line, a text or call, we’d love to hear from you.
