31 Aug wedding at Kettering Park Hotel
This has to be luckiest Saturday of the year as 24 hours before and 24 hours after, the heavens were open and offloading more rain than even the gardens needed. But on this Saturday the sun shone over Rama and Fraser’s Wedding at Kettering Park Hotel. Not only was there sunshine, but the sun enabled the wedding to take place outside in the gardens in a lovely gazebo with all of their friends and family looking on. Complete with sunglasses!
Rama and family were getting ready upstairs while Fraser greeted guests, looking fantastic in his kilt made of course in the family tartan and specially made cufflinks that bore the image of his father who sadly is no longer with us, but I know his presence was felt throughout the day. So the moment finally arrived for the their service, and the moment took Rama’s breath away as she was overwhelmed by the occasion, then the little ring bearer with his mop of blond hair and ability to appear on command- with just the shaking of a bag of sweets as his incentive -lightened the moment. Just to say, I know all brides look pretty spectacular in their wedding gowns, but we thought Rama looked incredibly beautiful in her wedding Sari and as a pair both Rama and Fraser looked extraordinary as they blended together their Scottish and Indian heritage.
It was almost a shame to go indoors for the wedding breakfast, but the speeches didn’t disappoint and before they headed upstairs to change into their evening outfits, we grabbed 5 mins to go outside and get a couple of lovely portraits. This was a lovely, jolly and intimate wedding and our first time at the Kettering Park Hotel. If you are planning your own wedding there have a look at the pictures and please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’d like to discuss your own wedding.
