15 Jan wedding at Gaynes Park for Ashleigh and Dan
Last September Don travelled to Essex for Ashleigh and Dan’s wedding at Gaynes Park . From what was not a promising start, low cloud and a steady drizzle on the drive down, this was another Saturday in 2015 that ultimately delivered a beautiful late summer afternoon and evening. Sadly Sally was unable to attend so we called on the lovely Eleanor to second shoot for us, thanks again Eleanor. We were recommended by a guest from last years Pennyhill Park wedding and we were delighted to join Ashleigh and Dan on this quite brilliant day.
The coverage started at the Marriot Hotel in Waltham Abbey with the girls having a lovely relaxed morning there before travelling the short distance to their Gaynes Park Wedding. It’s a lovely venue with stunning grounds and the trees were just starting their autumnal display, this, coupled with a glorious late summer day proved to be a lovely combination for Ashleigh and Dan’s wedding day. The location at Gaynes Park with its delightful setting and beautifully maintained gardens was an enormous contrast to their Southbank Pre-wedding shoot earlier in the year.
The ceremony took place in the Orangery at Gaynes Park, the light and shadows were fantastic but given the air conditioning despite sun and the huge amount of glass it was not too warm in there. Even so it was lovely to come out into the grounds for drinks and canapés and a very chilled out afternoon.
If you’re planning your own wedding at the very lovely Gaynes Park and want to chat about working together we’d love to hear from you, either by email or on the phone 01908 666374.
