28 Nov Wanza Centre Wedding Leicester
We were thrilled when Deven and Nikita booked us for their Leicester Asian Wedding Ceremony as it was to be followed the next week by the civil ceremony and reception ( more of that in the next blog post). This was quite a logistical challenge as Sally was needed for bridal prep in Leicester whilst I was starting the day in South London, 4.45am, with Deven before we hopped on the coach and headed up the MI to Leicester for the ceremony. It’s not often you can say the M1 was clear but we sailed up to Leicester and had to park up for 30 mins as we were so early! It was also lovely as it was a chance to catch up with Meera and Tymour whose Chelsea Harbour Wedding we photographed a couple of years ago.
Whilst Nikita and the girls were secreted away in the bridal room, Deven entered the Wanza Centre ready for the marriage ceremony. This was attended by over 400 guests and the catering operation at The Wanza was a sight to behold and a lesson in efficiency! After the ceremony and a long list of group pictures we headed out to give Deven and Nikita a few moments together as we took some great urban portraits and I loved the graffiti on the garage doors.
Come back to the blog soon for Part II of this fabulous wedding. In the meantime enjoy our favourite shots from the day and if you are planning your own Leicester wedding please do get in touch on email or by calling 07801 752224.
