30 Nov The Vineyard at Stockcross wedding for Tracy and Allan
I have known Tracy for over 20 years as we both worked at the now defunct Ampex on good old Acre Road, Reading. Despite having left Reading over a decade ago I have stayed in touch with a group of gals from that time ( all thanks to Sarah’s organising skills, thanks Sarah !) and it was a thrill to be asked by Tracy to take the reportage style pictures that she and Allan wanted for their wedding. Neither wanted to have a pre-wedding session as they were both extremely busy and also totally confident in our ability to seek out the moments and glances that they wanted us to capture throughout their Vineyard at Stockcross Wedding.
The Vineyard is a lovely self contained venue known around the world for its extraordinary wine cellar and I have to say their rooms are gorgeous and their bedrooms even better. Tracy had quite an entourage with her in the enormous bridal suite of 3 lovely rooms, each with fabulous light. Her 3 children did her proud by helping her get ready and the lovely Henry had the honour of walking his mum down the aisle, which caused the rustle of more than one tissue !
As much as we love all weddings, this one was extra special given how long Tracy and I have known each other and it was lovely to have other friends there which all in all made it a very special day.
