11 Jun Stowe Gardens photography
Re-arranged from two weeks before, because of the weather, we met up with Lesa and Spike for their Stowe Gardens photography session. The sun was shining and the mercury had finally started to rise, leaving us with some beautiful early evening light in the stunning surroundings of the Stowe parkland. Stowe is a National Trust property and this was the first time we’d visited Stowe Gardens for a pre-wedding photography session. It will not be the last, sweeping parkland, beautiful architectural features, like the Palladian Bridge, combined with a delightful couple who were happy for me to indulge myself made this shoot a real treat with the wide variety of backdrops the parkland offers. When we met up at the Queens Head, in Chackmore, Lesa and Spike had spied a field of Oilseed Rape that they wanted to use to kick off their pre-wedding shoot. So off we went to capture a few frames for them before heading into the park for a delightful couple of hours. All in all I can highly recommend Stowe Gardens for any kind of photography and in particular a couples shoot as the drama of the venue coupled with the romance of a pre-wedding photography session makes it a wondeful location. In addition we had a great sunset, so we came away enchanted with Stowe Gardens. I hope you enjoy the images.
