12 Jun St Pancras Pre-wedding Shoot
Back to London, this time for a St Pancras station pre-wedding shoot. The station is a fantastic building and is the location where Marvin proposed, under the meeting point statue. We had a wonderful Saturday morning shoot with Marvin and Jo-Anna, who are due to marry at the very impressive Dunchurch Park Hotel in a couple on months time. St Pancras offers beautiful light coupled with the stunning external architecture of the station and hotel, which gave us a wonderful backdrop for the session. The interior of the hotel is definitely worth exploring but we were ‘shooed away’ from shooting inside, which was fair enough! That said, the excellent front of house staff at Restaurant Gilbert Scott invited us to use all of their restaurant and bar area to help complete Marvin and Jo-Anne’s pre-wedding session. This was the greatest fun, a fantastic couple who were tremendous to work with, like Lesa and Spike a couple of days earlier they had some ideas of there own of some pictures they wanted to have from the day. We’ve had some fantastic pre-wedding shoots so far this year, they’re always fun and with a great variety in surroundings we’ve been invited to shoot from our couples. We find these shoots are important for us to see how a couple work with the camera, and for our couples as it really does help them to be more relaxed for their wedding photography, which always shows in the pictures on the big day.
