16 Jul Sam & Alex Pre-wedding shoot at Stowe
We’re suckers for a National Trust property and were delighted when Sam and Alex chose Stowe located just the other side of Buckingham for their pre-wedding shoot. We met there 3 Sundays ago on a gorgeous sunny afternoon. It would had been good to have gone a bit later to capture the sun set but Stowe have a strict ( as we later found out ) policy on when they locked the doors to the property.
We had a lovely walk around Stowe with Sam and Alex and it was lovely to hear news of a mutual friends recently announced pregnancy, particularly as we also photographed her spring wedding a few years ago. Pop back in the autumn to see the wedding collection for Sam and Alex, in the meantime, here are our favourite shots from the afternoon.
Note to self – When Stowe say 6.00pm they don’t mean 6.01pm. The gates were locked and we honestly thought we were stuck as there is a huge deep drop that circles the grounds which was far too big to risk jumping down into. Thankfully Alex and Sam had the Stowe phone number and after a bit of pleading one of the staff came down to rescue us. We had seem others walking on the other side of the lake so who knows, perhaps they had to bed down for the night !
