Plum Park wedding – for Sophie and Dale.

Despite living not 5 miles way for the past 20 years this is the first time we have covered a Plum Park wedding. Why is that’s always the way?  So naturally we were very happy as Milton Keynes Photographers when we met Sophie and Dale and learnt of their venue choice.  Last Autumn we had met up for their pre-wedding shoot at the Cathedral of Trees in Milton Keynes (another place on our doorstep we hadn’t visited before – must get out more !)

Dale is something of a Star Wars fan so there were cufflinks, socks and few other discrete nods to the epic movies.  As an aside the original the the first film I was allowed to go and see as a little girl with my friends and without my parents, so it has stuck with me.   The girls looked after Sophie whilst they all had their hair and make up done and their reaction to seeing her in her dress for the first time was just brilliant, plus her Dad looked like he would burst with pride.

We got to Plum Park on what was a fabulously hot day and I think we all melted just a little bit in the conservatory where the ceremony took place so we were all extremely happy to pile out into the gardens where everyone stayed enjoying a blissful summers afternoon before heading into the marquee for the wedding breakfast.

A great day, a great new venue (for us) and home before midnight.  We love to travel for weddings but it is always a treat to get home before midnight so Sophie and Dale, thanks for choosing us, we had a blast and may the force always be with you!  If you’re planning your own Plum Park  Wedding and are looking for natural relaxed and subtly observed pictures to tell the story of your wedding day, we’d love to hear from you.  Please email us or call on 01908 666374.
