11 Aug Notley Abbey Wedding – Danielle and Phung
It’s been a busy summer so far and I’ve only just realised that we didn’t blog about Danielle and Phungs pre-wedding shoot around St Katherines Dock and Tower Bridge. So, I’ve picked an extra large selection of images for their 4th July Notley Abbey Wedding which was utterly gorgeous. We started the day with a Vietnamese Tea ceremony which honours both sets of parents and the memory of those no longer with us, it was very moving without being too sombre. After a few shots we then separated off again so the girls could relax and get ready for the wedding ceremony, whilst the guests spilled out into the immaculate grounds of Notley Abbey to enjoy homemade lemonade and lawn games.
This was our first Notley Abbey Wedding ( we’re back there later in the Summer) so it was great to hear about the Vivienne Leigh and Sir Laurence Olivier connection, as theatre junkies it added an extra element for Don and I. With the weather being so glorious, we were able to have the ceremony outside and we utterly fell in love with two flower girls who had flown in from Australia for the wedding, in fact a huge number of guest had travelled from the USA & Australia so it was wonderful to have a perfect English summers day for them to enjoy the ceremony in, let’s face it, a quintessentially English venue. The ceremony was amazing with just the vows having to take place within the nook. After the first dance, we moved outside for fab fireworks which marked the start of the main party and as we left everyone was rocking out and you just knew it was going to be a wicked party.
If you’re planning your own Notley Abbey Wedding and want to talk about creating natural relaxed images of you with your friends and family, we’d love to hear from you.
