15 May Latimer Place Wedding for Rachel and Richard
Pretty much everyone who knows us is aware that we are a little big dog crazy so when Rachel and Richard wanted their dog Bertie to be part of their pre-wedding shoot and Latimer Place wedding, we were really happy! Bertie may be tiny but he makes his presence felt and even had his own little wedding outfit. Rachel and Richard put their mark firmly on their day in lots of different ways including Rachel’s amazing converse wedding shoes that I was, still am, very envious of. Plus their table centre pieces were handmade from pick and mix sweeties, again our kind of people! Rachel got ready at mum’s house, while Dad busied himself putting ribbons on the car as he waited to be called in to see his little girl in all her finery. It’s always a goosebumps moment for me when I witness that once in a lifetime moment as a Father sees his Daughter in her wedding dress for the very first time. Rachel’s Dad was very emotional and deeply proud, it was very moving to be able to capture this for them.
There is a Church within the grounds of Latimer Place which is cute as a button and just a short fifty metre walk from the venue. Latimer Place is a very dramatic and impressive venue with gardens and views to die for. We were really happy to be here for Rachel and Richard’s wedding and were blessed with the kind of evening light that wedding photographers crave. It was good fun working with Arm Productions once again who were making the video and we’re looking forward to working with them again later this year.
We loved this Latimer Place wedding, there was a great Photobooth to enjoy and then we popped outside to get sparkler pictures at the front of the venue where the love of Bertie was spelled out! Great day, great venue and a really lovely couple who have finally tied the knot after Richard pursued Rachel for years. It’s a love story with a wonderfully happy ending and we wish them a long and happy marriage.
Whilst it is always great to go to new venues, we are always happy to return and Latimer Place is somewhere we would love to go back to, so get in touch if you’re planning a wedding there, we can show you more images from this great day and we’d love to hear about your plans.
