A bit about Sally.
I have spent most of my working life in the Film & TV industry, With over 20 years experience in sales, marketing & PR, I have worked in London’s top Post Production Companies & was blessed to have a global marketing role which included responsibility for our Post Houses in New York & Singapore… I adore New York, thankfully so does Don… it’s probably the only other place that I would consider living.
Like most photographers, I got the bug in childhood & have always been drawn to people imagery to capture the essence of the individual. Outside of Photography, my other passions are: gardening, both at home & on our allotment, Radio 4, who can live without it? Chase’s Marmalade Vodka, you have to try it, Don’s amazing cooking and our adorable hound Stanley.
Dons Bit.
I share Sals’ passion for Stan, but he’s definately a mummy’s boy! The biggest thrill for me is capturing the images at a wedding, knowing that what we create in that moment will stay within a family for years and generations to come. How cool is that! I try not to think about the enormous responsibility of the day & aim to capture the unplanned, the hilarious, the poignant & thought provoking images that can’t be posed, they just happen & I will do my utmost to make sure I capture those moments for you.
For me, my non photographic passions evolve around food & wine. I’m a part time chef & a full time wine fan! I organise monthly wine lunches at a wonderful restaurant in Notting Hill, where the chef creates a menu to suit the wine theme of the day. I’ve made extraordinary friends at these events and there’s even someone else there to take the photographs!
