15 Jul Chelsea Registry Office Wedding
Any Chelsea Registry office Wedding on the Kings Road is very special to us as it is the very place where we had our own wedding service, but this one was doubly special as good friends Stephen & Lise had chosen Chelsea for their own big day. So it was with a huge pleasure to return for their Brydon Room Wedding. Stephen and I worked together for several years and have stayed in touch, so it was an honour to capture the images for he and Lise’s fabulous London Wedding Day. We went down to the River the night before for dinner and did a few shots, but no late night for us as we had a 6.00am start for the wedding preperations. The alarms went off early as the service was at 10.00am, so after a quick bacon sandwich, we got started. Lise’s mum is a fabulous, make that professional, make-up artist and was responsible for both hair and make-up. Whilst we were getting ready, Stephen was across town having a hearty breakfast before arrived for his Chelsea Registry Office wedding. Everything went brilliantly well despite both Don and I having a little tear as we remembered our own Chelsea Wedding. After capturing some images on those famous steps, the full wedding party walked around the corner to The Phene pub. A fabulous spread of Cake and Champagne with just the tiniest spot of rain followed by heartfelt speeches. Just a few short hours later, the car came to whisk them off to start their Honeymoon in Spain. We followed them out for Part 2 of their wedding celebration at the Casa La Siesta in Vejer. It was very romantic with the added benefit that the weather was baking, and glorious. Look out for Part 2 on the blog in a few days.
If you’re planning a Chelsea Registry Office Wedding, we’ll move heaven and earth to return there (as you can imagine) so get in touch, we’d love to hear from you.
