Box End Park Wedding for Michelle and Jonathan

Box End Park Wedding for Michelle and Jonathan

Well hello summer..!  On the 1st of June the sun came out for Michelle and Jonathan’s Box End Park Wedding.   It was lovely to see them again as it had been a month or two since their pre-wedding session in Woburn.

We started the day at their lovely home in Broughton for the bridal preparation pictures and there are some of our favourite getting ready shots in here.  The light was amazing and Michelle and her family were lovely as we all worked to get Michelle ready for her wedding. One person was missing however, Michelle’s nephew, who was not due to be born for a few more days, decided that the 1st June was going to be his birth date, so there was a lot of extra anticipation as they waited to hear about his arrival.

So, whilst that added an extra dimension to the day, this was very clearly Michelle and Jonathan’s day and what a fabulous day it was.  I must ask Michelle the details of her make up artist . She is an expert in using make up to cover up markings on the skin and what you wouldnt realise from looking at these prictures, is that Michelle, just before her wedding day, broke out in an overwhelming rash that threatened to impact her enjoyment of the day and yet this amazing work was done that looks completely natural and lasted the entire day. It was amazing and so lovely to see the joy it bought to Michelle on her day.
Anyway, I digress.  The service was held at the wonderful All Saints Church in Milton Keynes village with readings from their  great friends.  We then left Milton Keynes village and moved onwards for their Box End Park Wedding reception.  This was the first time we had covered a Box End Park Wedding and it was lovely with beautiful light and surrounded by two huge water ski-ing lakes.  It was a wonderfully warm day and although we did some initial portrait photographs with Michelle and Jonathan, we were blessed with amazing evening light so off we went to the lakes, which by 7.00pm were free from water skiers, and got some lovely natural light shots.

We really enjoyed being part of Michelle and Jonathan’s day.  They have just visited to view their pictures and are pleased with the resulst  which was a great relief as we knew Jonathan doesn’t enjoy being photographed, but they both look amazing, don’t you think?   We would  love to hear what you think too as your comments are very very welcome.  If you are planning your own Box End Park wedding and would like to see more images from the day to see how well the venue works, then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
