09 Jul 1950’s wedding. Cruck Barn Milton Keynes
Anna and James were looking for a wedding photographer in Milton Keynes at the last MK Wedding Fair for their 1950’s wedding at Cruck Barn Milton Keynes. They told us all about their 1950’s themed wedding and we were thrilled when they booked us to be their wedding photographers just a few days after the show. From that moment, through to subsequent pre wedding photography shoot (see our earlier blog) and then on to their wedding day we all felt very relaxed together. Its important not to underestimate how important that is when choosing your wedding photographer, they are likely to be close by you for most of the day and its vital that you get along and feel supported through your amazing day.
Anna and James’s wedding ceremony was held at the Village church in Woughton On the Green. The vicar had very kindly allowed them to choose their own music to replace the hymns and it was amazing to hear Bob Marley’s One Love, being sung at the top of our voices. Following the service they got into an immaculate vintage VW Beetle to travel to the Medieval Cruck Barn Milton Keynes. This was a very special day, with many of the guests making an extra effort to dress to the 1950’s theme. Anna and James have three wonderful daughters each wearing blue polka dot dresses whilst the adult bridesmaids looked amazing in red polka dots.
Being a Wedding Photographer is an absolute privilege and more often than not, lots of fun, but this wedding took it to a new level. With the American 1950’s theme, some of the best music we’ve heard in a long time and food by the American Barbeque experts Percy’s, this was a wonderful wedding and we wishAnna and James lots of love and happiness as they start this next phase of their life together.
If you are planning a wedding at The Cruck Barn Milton Keynes, we would love to hear from you.
